Recent Developments in the Calculation of Hyperfine Anomalies and Electric Field Gradients in Ferromagnetic Metals and Alloys

Abstract
- The detailed mechanisms which can give rise to changed hyperfine anomalies and electric field gradients in ferromagnetic metals and alloys are discussed. It is shown that both of these effects are caused by spin orbit coupling. Calculations of these effects are discussed for alloys and pure metals. A relation between the electric field gradient and the Anomalous Hall Effect is discussed.
