Correlation effect on unique forbidden decays

Abstract
- The hindrance in some unique first-forbidden beta decays is related to the repulsive T = 1 particle-hole force. Calculations are performed for 17 N, 39 Ar and 41 K. The qualitative trend agrees with experiment, but not the numerical results.
