Abstract

We have carried out DAFS experiments at the Ir L3-edge to study the local structure of Ir layers in Ir(100)/Fe superlattices. Our findings agree with the existence of a body centered Fe phase in pseudomorphic regime. These experiments also give information about IrFe interfaces.
