Abstract
- The stimulatory effect of the combination of fetuin and 2-mercaptoethanol on the recovery of plaque-forming cells (PFC) in the absence of serum could be mimicked by the use of reduced alkylated fetuin. A correlation was found between the mitogenic and PFC-stimulating activities of reduced alkylated fetuin.
