Abstract

The results of measurements of the spin transfer parameter Knoon as well as of the analyzing power Aooon and polarization Pnooo in the pp-elastic scattering at 1 GeV are presented. The data were obtained in the angular range 20–40° c.m. The experiment has been performed at PNPI 1 GeV proton accelerator using the proton polarized target and the high resolution magnetic spectrometer. The last one was especially adopted to work with the “thick” polarized target made of propandiol. The measurements of the Knoon parameter in this angular and energy region were carried out for the first time. The results are compared with the pp-scattering phase shift analysis predictions.
