Abstract

Plectranthias retrofasciatus Fourmanoir & Randall, 1979 Plectranthias pallidus Randall & Hoese, 1995 Holotype: BPBM 22487, 61.8 mm SL, male (?). Type locality: New Caledonia, Gazelle Pass, near northwest tip of island, depth 200 meters.
