Abstract: In this study is carried out a complex evaluation of ecotourism resources from the Northern Development Region of the Republic of Moldova. The main ecotourism objectives are identified, systematized and analyzed.. Compared to the other development regions, the ecotourism potential of the region is less utilized. This fact is conditioned by: the peripheral position of the region; the particularly pronounced rural and agrarian character; weaker development of transport, accommodation and leisure infrastructure, etc.
