The main long-term trends in annual frequency of such events related to precipitation and wind as well as its total number have been established. The analysis of baric formations in the surface atmosphere layer causing storm weather in the Azov-Black Sea region was carried out. The corresponding leading atmospheric processes in the middle troposphere are also described.
