Abstract

The analysis and the scheme of business process of categorical management are offered in the work. The works of foreign and domestic scientists are analyzed, the business process of categorical management proposed by the American consulting company The Partnering Group is evaluated. It has been found that it is important to look at all products through the eyes of the customer: the goods should be grouped into one category according to the principle as they are distinguished and perceived by the consumer. The need to develop and refine the business process of categorical management is identified, the need to introduce into the business process of categorical management components related to the analysis, evaluation and selection of suppliers is emphasized; preparation for sale and direct sale; marketing communications and analysis of sales and customer satisfaction. It is concluded that the basis of the business process of categorical management is to meet customer needs and improve the interaction between supplier and seller, knowledge and research on the entire process of categorical management, from preparation to the last steps in implementing developed tactics and projects.
