Abstract
- Niobium is an important nuclear material. Zirconiumwhen alloyed with niobium, attains significantly improved mechanical properties. In this article, molecular dynamics based simulations are carried out to study the effect of symmetrical tilt grain boundary on nucleation and growth in bi-crystal of bcc niobium.
