Abstract: CdWO4 polymorphs are solvothermally synthesized from mixtures of Cd2Cl2 and Na2WO4 using water as solvent to prepare monoclinic CdWO4, and propylene glycol for tetragonal CdWO4 (autoclave, 200 °C, 10 h).
