Alkylation stereochemistry of camphor derivatives of glycinates. Double chiral induction with secondary halides

Alkylation of the D-camphor imine of tert -butyl glycinate with secondary allylic and benzylic halides affords products which have high stereochemical purity, particularly at the halogen displacement site.
