Abstract
- We present analytical solutions for the principal maxima in multiple slit diffraction. By expanding the angular position of the principal maxima in orders of a / d where d is the distance between two adjacent slits and a is the width of each slit, we obtain the angular position of the principal maxima up to the twelfth order in a / d .
