Phase locking of a rapidly frequency-chirped laser

Abstract: We report on the phase locking of a rapidly frequency chirped laser to a local oscillator. Deterministic and stochastic noises affecting the chirp purity are suppressed, and phase locking occurs in less than 1 mus.
