Intra-arterial nicardipine successfully relieved post-subarachnoid hemorrhage cerebral vasospasm during aneurysm embolization: a case report

A scheduled aneurysm embolization was performed on a 66-year-old male patient due to ruptured cerebral basilar aneurysms. During the procedure,complete segmental obliterations of the distal basilar artery occurred, and the blood flow of the cerebral vessel proximal to the aneurysms was suddenly invisible from angiography. Severe post subarachnoid haemorrhage cerebral vasospasm was diagnosed under radiological evidence.
