Abstract
- In this study we will try replicate our earlier results that situational pressure moderates the preference of "followers" for one of two leadership styles. In order to achieve this, we will present participants with the description of a company aswell as its economic and social situation and ask them to imagine being an employee of the described company. Afterwards we present them with the profiles of two potential group leaders that differ in their leadership style, these leadership styles are based on the two most important behavioural styles identified by the Ohio State leadership studies ("consideration" and "initiating structure"). Then participants will choose for which of the two leaders they would prefer to work for and rate both of them regarding their qualification and their liking of them
