Abstract: The intermetallic compounds Ln6Co5Ge1.80Al2.20 (Ln: Pr, Nd) are prepared by reactions of Ge and Al in a reactive Ln/Co flux (alumina crucible, 950 °C, 12 h, annealing at 650 °C for 84 h).
