Abstract
- The aim of this research paper is to provide a general overview of Mux and Demux. This research paper starts with a brief description of these electronic devices. A multiplexer, also known as a data selector, is a system that can merge two or more data lines into a single data line for transmission to another venue. A demultiplexer, also known as a data distributor, is a device that divides a single, multiplexed data transmission line into individual data signals. This article addresses the 1 to 4 multiplexer and demultiplexer. Various applications of mux and demux in the fields of telephone and satellite communication, as well as uses of computer science, are discussed.
