Clinical Applications of Molecular Techniques

In continuation of an educational endeavor initiated in 1992 with the presentation of William Beaumont Hospital’s first DNA symposium, physicians, laboratories, and technologists gathered at the hospital on March 25–26, 1994, to discuss current trends and new directions in DNA technology as applied to the clinical setting. The results are reported in this special issue of Laboratory Medicine .
