Family Therapy Theory Applied in a Group Setting: The Family Issues Group

Family therapy theory and techniques can be successfully applied in group settings. This article discusses such an application of family therapy theory and describes it in terms of a group treatment setting for adult males with substance addiction. Various treatment rationales and subsequent interventions are explored.
