Abstract
- Recently, analytical formulas (1,2) of integration for the boundary element method (BEM) have been shown to be effective for the analysis of electric fields. However, these formulas can be applied only to isotoropic materials, not to anisotoropic materials. In practice, as with a liquid crystal, it is necessary to analyze anisotropic materials. But until now, to analyze anisotropic materials, we have had to use a numerical integration.
