Abstract
- We have dramatically induced the photoluminescence intensity of CdSe quantum dots emitted from plasma antennas, an intuitive picture consisted of a dense shell of CdSe nanocrystals spontenously deposited onto Au metallic grating nanowires which result from the connection of Au nanocrystals through hydrogen bonding. The Au-CdSe nanowires exhibit a remarkable red-shift surface plasmons energy band (77 nm) from 529 to 606 nm with respect to the complex-like colloids in a methanol solution and induced a narrower solid-state band-edge photoluminescence at 625 nm with a peakwidth of 23 nm.
