All-Optical Tag Comparator for 10Gb/s WDM-enabled Optical Cache Memory Architectures

We demonstrate an optical tag comparator for optical cache memory peripheral circuitry that decides upon cache “hit” or “miss” controlling the access of a 4-bit WDM-encoded optical word at 10Gb/s line-rate into a cache line.
