Abstract

Distance education is the education of specialists who may not always be physically present. Today it involves online education. Web or other network technologies, are recent developments in distance education (Andreas M.,2016). Respiratory disease has a significant impact on the health of the population, and the use of health care resources both in Uzbekistan and in the world. In 2017, TB caused an estimated 1.3 million deaths in worldwide (WHO, 2017). Aim: Integration of innovative distance learning in the medical field. Methodology: CIDLM has been working since September 2018 and fully satisfies all its tasks for the implementation of the END-TB program in Uzbekistan. The total number of lessons was 24 for the period from September to December 2018. 286 students completed a distance learning course in TB. Among them: 141(51%) TB specialists, 96(33.5%) medical students, 44(15.3%) laboratory specialists and 5(1.74%) pathologists. Results: During the entire training period, high results were achieved. Financial resources and logistics costs were saved. TB specialists and medical students received modern data on such areas as pathological anatomy, laboratory work and modern schemes for the treatment of TB. The exchange of experience allows improving the integration between services in the hospital. Conclusion: The development and increase in the prevalence of distance learning is needed everywhere. In the Republic of Uzbekistan actively developing distance education in TB program.
