Application of Geo/chemical Barriers for Natural Waters Treatment

Abstract: A developed technique of integrated treatment of surface natural watercourses in terms of pollutants typical for oil-producing regions with the method of horizontal filtering at the model of geo/chemical barrier with silicicated tiff granular filling has been presented. Effectiveness of the proposed method of polluted natural watercourses treatment has been experimentally proved, the water purification degree is high enough (up to 99–100 %).
