ChemInform Abstract: Pd-Catalyzed Amination as an Alternative to Nucleophilic Aromatic Substitution for the Synthesis of N-Alkyltacrines and Analogues

A mild and convenient approach to the synthesis of title compounds (III) and (IX) is based on Pd-catalyzed amination of heteroaryl chlorides with primary amines.
