Effect of combined crylic elastic-plastic deformation and tempering on the mechanical properties of quenched steels

Abstract: It has been shown that cyclic aging or conditioning during the tempering of quenched St. 35 steel specimens increases the intensity of diffusion phenomena and promotes the relaxation of residual stresses. Cyclic aging of the specimens at elevated temperatures is accompanied by cold hardening.
