Abstract
- To investigate the safety of route flight in air traffic management, the collision risk is evaluated with the fuzzy sets theory. The new fuzzy evaluation method shows how the communication, navigation, surveillance, operation error, and traffic density influence the risk of collision in the parallel routes. The results demonstrate that fuzzy evaluation not only fulfill the safety assessment of separation minima, but also eliminate the limitation of the traditional probability collision risk model.
