Two dimensional nanosheets as pollutant removal agent

Abstract

In this research work we estimate the pollutant removal capability of two dimensional molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) nanosheets from aqueous medium, for these purpose molybdenum disulfide nanosheets was prepared by employing liquid exfoliation process on MoS2 bulk. The prepared samples of MoS2 nanosheets are characterized by using XRD, SEM, TEM, Raman, UV-visible absorption and photoluminescence measurements.
