Reactions of 2-thioxoper hydro-1, 3-thiazin-4 ones with Oxovanadium (IV), Chromium (III), Manganese (II), Iron (II) and Iron (III)

In this paper, the reaction of 2-thioxoperhydro – 1, 3 – thiazin – 4 ones; with VO(IV), Cr(III), Mn(II), Fe(II) and Fe(III) ions lead to the formation of M(TP)-x (H2O)y [M=Mn(II), Cr(III), Fe(III); x=1 or 2; y=2 or 3], VO(TP) 2 and [Fe(TPH)Cl 2 (PPh 3 ) 2 ]. These complexes have been characterized by analytical, magnetic, thermogravimetric and spectral (IR, UV and Visible) studies and their tentative structures are proposed.
