Platforms for joint development and hosting of software and the example of their implementation in the FAP SB RAS

The platform for the development and distribution of knowledge-based software is organized at the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences based on the Foundation of Algorithms and Programs of the SB RAS (https://fap.sbras.ru). The users of the platform have access to the project management, bug tracking and version control systems. The developed programs are included in the FAP SB RAS catalog by agreement with the authors. The Foundation’s staff also developed recommendations for distributing programs in the format of Ubuntu OS packages with the possibility of including them in the official repositories of this OS.
