Abstract
- IVF success rates vary throughout the world and depend mainly on the nature of the population. Many factors determine the success of IVF. These factors differ from one person to another and from one place to another. The type of fertility problem plays an important and influential role in the success rates of IVF children, and this problem varies according to gender. For example, in women there are cases of tubal obstruction, recurrent miscarriages due to thin endometriosis, cases of uterine abnormalities, and cases of fibroids and the long-term effects of latent TB disease. While some factors of male infertility, there are other factors such as the patient’s age, the duration of infertility, lifestyle and habits, for example smoking causes low sperm count, low motility, and high abnormal sperm. Obesity also causes lower sperm count and slow sperm movement. In this paper, a system will be created based on knowing the effectiveness of IVF procedure for couples and determining its success rate, using logical fuzzy control. A model is developed in which the inputs are a set of test results, the factors affecting the IVF, and the outputs are the success rate of these artificial insemination processes. The reliability and accuracy of the developed model were also discussed and presented.
