Abstract
- Western Cameroon has one of the richest floras in Tropical Africa. This paper examines the subject of the phytogeographic delimitation of the area. The Cross River-Sanaga River interval is known to be of importance in primate geography. Is it also important for plants? The characteristics of the area may be more a product of the Cameroon Highlands than of the flora of lowland Guinea: more work is needed to decide this.
