Abstract

hysterectomy. The main outcome measure was AHRQ-defined patient safety indicators (PSI). Multivariate analyses, adjusting for patient demographic factors, comorbidities, hospital teaching status, bed size and procedure volume, were performed to determine risk of PSI in minimally invasive (MIS) patients relative to open patients, and stratified by levels of hospital transition to MIS (“MIS transition index”).
