Protocol: systematic review of randomized controlled trials of psychological interventions in university students during the COVID-19 pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic has undoubtedly affected the psychological well-being of youths and students, particularly among those studying at university, frequently living alone and being burdened by performance-related anxiety and depression. As a consequence, identifying those interventions that can be beneficial on the mental health of these individuals stands out as a crucial issue. We will perform a systematic review of the existing evidence on psychological interventions on university students by synthesizing data from randomized controlled studies conducted during the COVID-19 emergency.
