Earlier recognition and superior definition of intracranial pathology by computerized tomography (CT) have demanded the introduction of CT imaging into the operating room itself1. A CT Scanner dedicated to improved surgical diagnosis and therapy has been combined with a compatible stereotaxic device to promote exploration, and removal or treatment of a wide spectrum of brain lesions.
