Compact bandpass filter with microstrip resonators

Abstract
- This article studies a filter belonging to the category of bandpass filters. This filter has two resonators located on the substrate with dielectric conductivity e=4.4 and thickness h=1.5 mm. Resonators used in the bandpass filter (BPF) allowed for technologically realizable structures with smaller sizes as compared to standard structures. The electrodynamic simulation program was used in order to check the operability of the structure before its manufacturing. The filter central frequency is 7.5 GHz, and the working band is 1,000 MHz. After the filter was designed, a prototype was manufactured with the use of standard microstrip devices production techniques.
