Oxazepines and thiazepines, XXI: CD-spectra of optically active 2-methyl-2,3-dihydro-1,5-benzothiazepin-4(5H)-ones and related 3-phenylthio-butyric acid derivatives

Chiroptical properties of the title compounds have been studied. The influence of the substitution pattern of the aromatic ring and the configuration of the centre of chirality on the Cotton effects appearing in various wavelengths ranges are discussed.
