Neglect as a Poorly Defined and Often Overlooked Aspect of Medical Student Mistreatment: A Review of the Literature

The aim of the current systematic literature review is to create a holistic overview of current body of data on medical student neglect by addressing the following questions: 1. What is the verbiage used to describe and define neglect directed towards medical students present in the education literature? 2. Based on the available data, what is the prevalence of neglect reported on clinical rotations? 3. What steps or interventions, if any, have been studied to ameliorate medical student neglect?
