Abstract
- Hypercrosslinked polymers (HCPs) are a class of promising materials for heterogeneous catalysis in recent years due to their superior physicochemical properties. Herein, a phosphorus-rich network polymer was synthesized by anhydrous FeCl3 promoted Friedel-Crafts alkylation tris(2-thienyl)phosphine and thiophene. Ruthenium (Ru) nanoparticles supported on this polymer was prepared by in-situ reduction method, which exhibits high catalytic activity for catalytic reduction of nitroarenes at room temperature using NaBH4 as reductant. The catalyst can be readily recovered and reused without obvious loss of catalytic activity.
