Realization of Communication Security in Substation

Abstract
- As an important node of smart grid, the intelligent substation has received more and more attention on the information security protection of the secondary system. At present, the communication security protection of the substation adopts the boundary protection, which only coordinates with the security protection strategy of the control center, and the security protection of the equipment in the station is relatively short. This paper, starting with the analysis of the existing communication security protection technology in the substation, focuses on the protocol layer security protection technology based on the IEC 62351 standard, and puts forward the realization method of the communication transmission layer, the application layer and the link layer on the automation equipment in substation. Finally, the paper analyzes the application requirements of substation communication security protection, and puts forward the reasonable use of these security protection technology according to the urgency of the security risks and actual condition of the substation, then further enhances the level of substation communication security.
