Ischemic and Epileptic Lesions Measured by AC- and DC-MEG

The MEG (7 channel system) only was used to show alterations or missing of auditory evoked magnetic field responses caused by brain infarction in the auditory cortex (Leinonen and Joutsiniemi, 1989). And TIAs up to now only could be localized by the PET scan in a reliable way (Vyska et al. 1983). We wanted to find, if the AC-MEG is able to locate spontaneous pathological activity produced by ischemic lesions and especially by TIAs.
