Abstract

Published evidence shows that the virus that causes Covid-19 disease is transmitted by close contact and droplets between people. People at the highest risk of getting sick; they are healthcare professionals who are in contact with Covid-19 patients and manage the health care process of these patients. In this case, Healthcare professionals are in the high risk group. To protect Healthcare professionals; it is known that hand hygiene, environment disinfection, use of personal protective equipment and education are important. Determining the exposure of healthcare professionals to Covid-19 disease is extremely important in terms of taking infection control measures. This study was conducted within the scope of Covid-19 disease, in order to evaluate the risks for Healthcare Professionals and to determine the behaviors of Healthcare Professionals to take infection control precautions. It is understood that healthcare professionals do not adapt to the training they received during the pandemic process compared to those with less than their professional experience and working years, and in this case, it is thought that the existing trainings should be repeated continuously and one-to-one observations should be made in the field.
