Abstract

This paper addresses such need using face negotiation theory and qualitative approach to identify the relevance of cultural competence towards assessing conflict resolution. Regarding cultural competence, Balinese shows appropriateness and effectivity based on Tatvamasi, Tri Hita Karana and Menyama Braya local wisdom while Lampungese employs communication adaptation based on Muakhi, Piil Pesenggiri and Ngangken.
