Analysis of rectangular patch array antenna on circular plane for Tera Hertz applications

Abstract
- In the present paper rectangular patch array antenna on circular plane for Tera Hertz applications has been analyzed in terms of directivity and scan angle with different radius of circular plane. All the analysis are carried at 1THz frequency for 3 × 3, 5 × 5, 7 × 7 and 9 × 9 antenna array structure. It is found that directivities are maximum at broadside angle direction, and drop sharply with scan angle if number of elements is less. With increase in number of array elements directivity increases, and it is found that for maximum directivity, the radius of circular arc should also be increased. The analysis of directivities and Scanning angles are obtained using MATLAB.
