Abstract: Lasioseiusbarbensiensis n. sp., a new species collected from an apple orchard in Barbens, Spain is described and illustrated. This is also the first report of a species belonging to the subgenus Borinquolaelaps Fox from Europe. (© 2006 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)
