Abstract
- In this paper is presented the modeling of a twelve-phase induction machine considering the flux space harmonics and the analysis of time harmonic injection. It is shown that from the fundamental up to the eleventh harmonics it is possible to produce dc torque, therefore, improving the torque density of the drive system. It is presented the machine dynamical model, the steady state analysis and a set experimental results.
