Interferon and cell division *1XII. Prolongation by interferon of the intermitotic time of mouse mammary tumor cells in vitro. Microcinematographic analysis

Time-lapse photomicrographic techniques have enabled us to analyse the effect of mouse interferon on the generation time of large numbers of individual mouse EMT6 tumour cells. Interferon treated cells followed through four cell generations showed a marked and progressive increase in their intermitotic times.
