Abstract

This Study inputted and analyzed data, including flux, pressure and temperature of air, in accordance with the rotation speed with the resonator and air intake pipe of the air intake system of automobiles as the analysis model. Firstly, the configuration of the model designed by using CATIA is downloaded in the format of ANSYS file for the execution of analysis. Flow analysis is carried out to compare the flow velocity and pressure within the air intake system. At this time, flow pattern and characteristics of the air intake system are forecasted through the finite element analysis technique, and used as the basic data for the reduction of flow noise. In this Study, modeling was executed by using the CATIA program while the analysis of flow and noise was made by using ANSYS finite element analysis program.
