Abstract
- The least-square method is applied to the identification of the stop model in order to improve its hysteretic representation. It is shown that the height difference of stop hysterons should not be smaller than the amplitude difference of the hysteretic loops used for the identification. The effective magnetic field is used for the play model. It successfully improves the hysteretic representation by the play model. The comparison of both models shows that the play model using the effective magnetic field represents the hysteretic characteristics more precisely than the stop model.
